Caring for dogs is second nature to local business owners Carly Jordan and Donna Frew.

Jordan owns The Bone-i-Fide Bakery in downtown Aiken, and Frew runs her own pet grooming business called A Doggie Need a Doo.

Jordan called her and Frew’s newest business venture “simply organic.”

“Well, I have a pet boarding and grooming businesses, and Carly loves animals and knows a lot about them,” Frew said. “She was the best person for me to ask to come on board and open up a doggy day care.”

All 4 The Dog Daycare & Spa is currently open, but will hold its grand opening on Monday, Sept. 6.

The cage-free day care boasts a large area for both small and big dogs to enjoy. Frew and Jordan will even pick up and drop off dogs within Aiken’s downtown area.

“We wanted to make sure our space was cage-free; there’s never going to be a crate anywhere,” Jordan said.

The day care and spa offers various package deals and services. Those deals include full day care for one dog at $20, and half day care at $15. The spa also offers package rates from a five-day pack for one dog at $18, to a five-day pack for multiple same family dogs at $17 each.

Jordan and Frew even offer a bathing and nail service starting at $15 per dog.

“Later on we hope to really have our own facility, and instead of me boarding the dogs in my facility, be able to bring them to this day care,” Frew said. “We look forward to having a large day care center one day. So far, the response has been great, and it’s getting better.”

The day care will also offer obedience classes starting in October.

“Your dog will go home tired and go home socialized,” Jordan said. “It’s good for the dogs to not only be around other dogs, but have a safe environment to do so. Our No. 1 concern is the animal’s safety, their happiness and their parent’s happiness. We feel very privileged to have the owners leave their pets in our care ... We try to go above and beyond to meet all needs.”

All 4 The Dog Daycare & Spa is located at 1760 Park Ave.
