According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

A 30-year-old Beech Island woman was detained for shoplifting on Monday after she tried to take $215 in clothing and hygiene items from a store on Whiskey Road without paying.

An unknown man shoplifted a cart full of items from a store on Whiskey Road on Monday.

Several batteries were reported stolen from a construction site on Whiskey Road on Monday.

Gunshots were reported on Kings Grant Drive near Colony Parkway at about 8:37 a.m. Monday. Officers investigated but were unable to find any evidence of shots fired.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

An Aiken woman reported fraud on Monday after someone made multiple fraudulent purchases using her credit card.

An Aiken woman reported fraud on Monday after someone opened a cellphone account in her name.

A burglary was reported on Whaley Pond Road in Graniteville on Monday. The owner reported electronics and a sword missing.

Additional burglaries were reported on University Parkway in Aiken, Irving Drive in Aiken and Morgan Avenue in North Augusta.

A vehicle break-in was reported on Atomic Road in Beech Island on Monday.

A vehicle was reported stolen from Maple Street in Warrenville on Monday.
