According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
A 19-year-old North Augusta woman was detained for forgery on Saturday after she tried to use a counterfeit $20 bill at a bar on Marlboro Street.
A 23-year-old Wagener woman allegedly stole $250 in merchandise from the Whiskey Road store in which she worked.
A 17-year-old Aiken man was detained for shoplifting on Saturday after he tried to take meat products from a store on York Street without paying.
A 44-year-old Batesburg man was detained for shoplifting on Sunday after he tried to take clothing from a store on Richland Avenue without paying.
A 53-year-old Aiken man was detained for shoplifting on Sunday after he tried to take a cellphone from a store on Richland Avenue without paying.
An unknown man shoplifted about $164 in merchandise from a store on Richland Avenue on Sunday.
An unknown woman shoplifted artificial fingernails and jewelry from a store on Richland Avenue on Sunday.
A 64-year-old Aiken man was detained for DUI on Saturday after he was pulled over on Pine Log Road for crossing the center line. The man exhibited signs of intoxication and was taken into custody after failing multiple field sobriety tests. He provided a breath sample that yielded a .21 percent blood-alcohol content.
A 29-year-old New Ellenton woman was detained for DUI on Sunday after she was pulled over on Whiskey Road for driving erratically. The woman smelled of alcohol and was taken into custody after failing multiple field sobriety tests.
A burglary was reported on Bradby Lane on Sunday. The owner reported a television and shoes missing.
An additional burglary was reported on Columbia Avenue on Saturday.
Gunshots were reported on Brown Lane at about 2:40 p.m. Friday. Officers investigated but could not find any evidence of shots fired.

A Graniteville man was detained for criminal domestic violence on Sunday after he allegedly punched his girlfriend in the face during an argument over their children.
A 36-year-old Warrenville man allegedly stole $20 in gasoline on Friday by pumping the gas into his vehicle and leaving the station without paying.
A burglary was reported on Lloydtown Road in Aiken on Saturday. The owner reported an air compressor missing.
Additional burglaries were reported on Atomic Road in Beech Island, Whaley Pond Road in Graniteville and Chime Bell Church Road in Aiken.
A vehicle break-in was reported on Columbia Highway in Aiken on Saturday. The owner reported prescription medication missing.
