The bride is a daughter of Steve and Sherry Hightower of Aiken, SC. She is a granddaughter of Ms. Earline Johnson of Aiken and Roscoe and Myra Hightower of Aiken.

The bridegroom is a son of Barry and Stephanie Nix of Williston, SC. He is a grandson of Ms. Shelby Gerber of Williston, Beverly Gerber of Williston and the late Lou Gerber, and Ginny Nix of Williston and the late Russell Nix.

Patience Drawdy of Windsor, SC was the matrons of honor. Bridesmaids were Jordan Nix of Williston, SC, sister of the groom; Kelly Lese of Aiken, SC, friend of the bride; Michelle Ennis of Aiken, SC, friend of the bride; and Sarah Moxley of Summerville, SC, friend of the bride.

Dylan Hitson of Aiken, SC was the best man. Groomsmen were Jacob Nix of Williston, SC, cousin of the groom; Jimmy Hewitt of Lexington, SC, cousin of the groom; Derek Dyches of Williston, SC, friend of the groom; and Patrick High-tower of Aiken, brother of the bride.

Peyton Hewitt of Lexington, SC, was the ringbearer.

Reagan Newsome of North Augusta, SC, was the flower girl.

Following a reception at the Aiken County Shrine Club, the couple left for a wedding trip to Daytona Beach, FL.

They will reside in Aiken.

The bride is a 2004 graduate of Aiken High School. She is a graduate of Southern Wesleyan University with a degree in General Studies. She is employed by SRP Federal Credit Union.

The bridegroom is a 2006 graduate of Williston-Elko High School. He is a graduate of Lander University with a degree in Sociology. He is employed by AB Beverage.
