According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

A 19-year-old Aiken man was detained for simple larceny on Thursday after he took a pair of shoes from the front porch of a home on Colleton Avenue.

A 30-year-old Augusta woman was detained for shoplifting on Thursday after she tried to take $400 in children’s clothing from a store on Whiskey Road without paying.

A burglary was reported on Bellreive Drive on Thursday. The owner reported jewelry missing.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

An unknown woman shoplifted women’s underwear from a store on Beech Island Avenue in Beech Island on Thursday.

A 52-year-old Aiken man reported Wednesday that a person took his bank card and fraudulently withdrew money from his account.

A burglary was reported Thursday at a business on Whiskey Road. The owner reported a pressure washer missing.

Additional burglaries were reported on Mohawk Drive in Aiken, Willow Springs Road in North Augusta, Edgefield Highway in Aiken and Piney Heights Road in Langley.

Vehicle break-ins were reported on Schley Street in Warrenville and Cleora Murray Drive in Aiken.

A vehicle was reported stolen from Eagle Street in Graniteville on Thursday.
