According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

An unknown man used six counterfeit $10 bills to purchase a money order at a store on York Street on Monday.

A teacher at a school on Pinecrest Avenue reported a laptop stolen from her classroom on Monday.

A 39-year-old Aiken woman reported a firearm stolen from her home on Brucewood Street on Tuesday.

A 36-year-old Graniteville man was detained for shoplifting on Tuesday after he tried to take multiple items from a store on Whiskey Road without paying.

A 22-year-old Aiken woman was detained for shoplifting on Tuesday after she tried to take $100 in merchandise from a store on Whiskey Road without paying.

Burglaries were reported on Richland Avenue and Florence Street.

A trailer was reported stolen from Yates Street on Tuesday.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

A 52-year-old Aiken man was detained for criminal domestic violence on Tuesday after he allegedly threatened his wife with a knife.

A 30-year-old Aiken woman reported jewelry stolen from her home on Old Barnwell Road on Tuesday.

Tools were reported stolen from homes on Rushton Road in Aiken and Watsonia Drive.

A vehicle was reported stolen from Wagener Road in Aiken on Tuesday.
