The City of Aiken will offer a free Math Enhancement Program starting today.
The program is open for students ages 10 through 12, and the program gives the students an opportunity to strengthen their mathematical abilities and establish a foundation for math class next year. The classes also offer students one-on-one help and group activities to help prepare them for sixth and seventh grade math levels.
The classes are instructed by both middle and high school math honor students.
Classes will be held today through Saturday, Sept. 13 each Wednesday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m.
The classes are held at the H. Odell Weeks Activities Center, located at 1700 Whiskey Road.
