According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:


A Wagener woman reported on Saturday that a Batesburg-Leesville woman hit her with “a post from a table lamp” during an incident that took place at a home on Selvern Road in Wagener. According to the responding officer, the victim had a bruised and swollen left eye and a bruised upper lip. The victim said the subject asked her to come to residence because she needed help and possibly a ride.


An incident involving vandalism was reported on Saturday at a home on Hamilton Drive in Aiken.


A hit-and-run incident was reported on Sunday outside a home on Rebel Road in Aiken.


A Bath man reported on Saturday that a red 3,500-watt Honda generator was missing from the front yard of his home on Bay Street.


An 18-year-old man from Philadelphia was arrested and charged with malicious damage to personal property on Saturday after witnesses reported that he fired a BB gun at passing cars from the roof of a home on Parker Drive in Clearwater. An 18-year-old Clearwater man at the same location was arrested and charged with damaging county property after he said that he had fired a BB gun at the responding officer’s patrol car. The officer took possession of a black and brown BB gun to use as evidence.


A North Augusta woman reported on Saturday that a 2008 gold Honda CR-V was taken from outside of her home on Rhomboid Place.


A 51-year-old man was arrested for driving under the influence on Saturday at the Royal Inn on Jefferson Davis Highway in North Augusta. An anonymous caller reported seeing a man who was “barely able to walk,” entering a purple car. The responding officer saw a purple vehicle stop in front of the office at the Royal Inn. The subject then got out of the vehicle and went into the motel’s office. According to the officer, the man was staggering as he walked and his speech was slurred. After the man failed several field sobriety tests, he was arrested. The man provided a breath sample that indicated his blood-alcohol content was 0.24.


An Aiken woman confirmed a complainant’s report on Saturday that her Discover credit card had been stolen and used without her permission. The credit card was in her wallet that was taken while she was at Christian Heritage Church on Ascauga Lake Road in Graniteville on Friday for her wedding and reception.


A 28-year-old Warrenville man was arrested on Friday on Bay Street in Warrenville for providing false information about his name. He matched the description of a male subject that been seen running from a location on Railroad Street where law enforcement officials had responded to a call.


A North Augusta woman reported on Saturday that her keys and cellphone were missing from a bowl that was on a table outside of her home on Duncan Road. In addition, she said someone had cut the lock off the door of her laundry room and had taken a stereo and CDs.


An Aiken man, who lives on Old Kimbill Trail, reported on Saturday that his ex-girlfriend had forged his name on a vehicle title and transferred the ownership of the vehicle to her name. The ex-girlfriend, who lives in Warrenville, said the man had provided the vehicle to her during their relationship and had “signed it over” to her a few weeks ago. She showed the responding officer text messages from the man in which he had acknowledged her ownership of the vehicle.


A 48-year-old woman from Grovetown, Georgia, and a 52-year-old Beech Island woman declined to pursue charges after they got into a fight at a home on Beech Island Avenue in Beech Island on Friday. They both said that they pulled each other’s hair and hit one another in the head and on the face several times with their open hands. A call about a disturbance brought the responding officer to the residence.


A Jackson man reported on Saturday that someone had taken two eight-foot-long wooden tables from under a carport in front of Young’s Service Station on Sandbar Ferry Road in Beech Island. The man is the service station’s owner.


A Graniteville woman reported on Saturday that someone used a rock to break a window in her residence at Kalmia Apartments on Kalmia Lane.


An Aiken man reported on Saturday that someone had damaged a fence outside his home on Stetson Lane using “some type of tool.”


An Aiken man reported on Saturday that someone entered a home on Columbia Highway in Ridge Spring, pulled two security system boxes off a wall and went through their contents. The man said nothing was taken.


A Beech Island man reported on Saturday that someone had knocked down five mailboxes on the 100 block of McElmurray Road.
