According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

A 16-year-old Aiken girl was detained for disorderly conduct on Wednesday after allegedly shouting and using profanity on Columbia Avenue because she didn’t want to get into a car with her mother.

A 58-year-old Aiken man reported larceny on Wednesday after an unknown person took an envelope containing a bracelet from his vehicle while it was parked at a gas station on Beaufort Street.

A 26-year-old Aiken woman reported vandalism on Wednesday after an unknown person shattered the windshield on her vehicle, scratched the paint and flattened a tire while the vehicle was parked on Cabinet Drive.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

An employee of a rental car company reported on Wednesday that he found a pistol under the driver’s seat of a vehicle that he was cleaning.

A Warrenville woman on Wednesday accused her sister of stealing a jar containing $150 in change from her home on Augusta Road.

An unknown person ripped an outside light from the wall of a school on Weldon Way in Graniteville on Wednesday.

Burglaries were reported on Edgefield Highway in Aiken and Jackson Street in Langley.

A vehicle was reported stolen from Edisto Road in Aiken on Wednesday.
