According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

An unknown person took about $4,300 of wire from a trailer parked on Marlboro Street on Monday.

An attempted burglary was reported at a home on South Boundary Avenue on Monday. The 83-year-old victim reported finding muddy footprints on a side door, which she said was difficult to open.

According to reports provide by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

A 26-year-old Aiken man was detained for criminal domestic violence on Tuesday after he allegedly struck his girlfriend in the face with her cellphone during an argument.

A Warrenville man reported vandalism on Monday after an unknown person allegedly damaged several vehicles parked outside his home, resulting in them being unable to start.

A 31-year-old Aiken woman reported fraud on Monday after someone gave her two checks to deposit, which her bank later determined were fake.

A burglary was reported on Hutto Pond Road in Aiken on Monday. The owner reported a weed eater and a vacuum missing.
