The 21st Annual Border Bash event will include a Grammy Award-winning singer.
Kristian Bush, who makes up one half of the platinum-selling country duo Sugarland, will perform at the Augusta Common on Sept. 12. The Joe Stevenson Band will be back for a seventh year to play a few fan favorites before Bush hits the stage, according to a press release.
USC and UGA Cheerleaders, Hairy Dawg & Cocky will also be at the big celebration. Vendors, food, drinks and games will all be available at the Border Bash.
Tickets go on sale today at www.BorderBash.net. They will also be available at Communigraphics and all area Circle K locations.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the gate. Children ages 12 and younger will be admitted for free. VIP tickets, which include preferred viewing, food and drinks are available for $50 for adults and $10 for children. Those tickets will be available online only at BorderBash.net.
Gates open at 4 p.m. at Augusta Common, located at 836 Reynolds St., Augusta.
Border Bash is a celebration of the football rivalry between border state schools – the University of Georgia and the University of South Carolina. Proceeds from the event go towards supporting CSRA children’s charities and clubs.
