According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
A 28-year-old Aiken man was detained for disorderly conduct on Friday after allegedly banging loudly on a neighbor’s door and trying to kick in the door. The man also had a beer in his hand and exhibited signs of intoxication.
A 25-year-old Augusta man was detained for shoplifting on Wednesday after he tried to take $800 in merchandise from a store in Aiken Mall without paying.
Gun shots were reported on Gayle Avenue near Teague Street about 9:45 p.m. Thursday. Officers investigated but were unable to find evidence of shots fired.
An Aiken woman reported on Thursday that someone scratched her vehicle multiple times while it was parked on Colleton Avenue.
According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
A Windsor man reported identity theft on Thursday after his ex-wife allegedly used his Social Security number to have bills of hers placed into his name.
A 20-year-old Warrenville man was detained for disorderly conduct on Thursday after he was seen trying to flag down passing motorists on School Street near Pine Street. The man smelled of alcohol and exhibited signs of intoxication.
A dirt bike was reported stolen from Friendly Lane in North Augusta on Thursday.
A propane cooker was reported stolen from Rainbow Falls Road in Graniteville on Thursday.
A bicycle was reported stolen from a home on Todd Avenue in North Augusta on Wednesday.
Burglaries were reported on Lake Santee Drive in North Augusta, Columbia Highway in Aiken, Collins Avenue in Aiken and Blanchard Road in North Augusta.
