According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
A 46-year-old Aiken man was detained for disorderly conduct on Monday after he was found sitting intoxicated on the front porch of a family member’s Sumter Street home.
A 20-year-old Trenton man was detained for shoplifting on Monday after he tried to take $55 in trading cards from a store on Richland Avenue without paying.
Gunshots were reported near the intersection of Fairfield Street and Edgefield Avenue at about 6:40 p.m. on Monday. Officers investigated but found no evidence of shots fired.
A burglary was reported on Abbeville Avenue on Monday. The owner reported electronics, clothing and food missing.
A vehicle was reported stolen from Richland Avenue on Monday.
According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
A 33-year-old Leesville woman was detained for disorderly conduct on Tuesday after she was found walking intoxicated on the side of Sand Dam Road in Wagener. The woman, who smelled of alcohol, told officers she was on her way home from a party.
A burglary was reported at a home on Bluff Landing Road in Jackson on Tuesday. The owner reported electronics missing.
Additional burglaries were reported on Wickham Drive in Graniteville and Hampton Avenue in Aiken.
A vehicle break-in was reported on West Five Notch Road in North Augusta on Monday. The owner reported a credit card missing.
Vehicles were reported stolen from Hillside Drive in North Augusta, Jefferson Davis Highway in North Augusta and I-20 East near Exit 6 in North Augusta.
