A 29-year-old Aiken woman was detained for shoplifting Thursday after she tried to take beer and painkillers from a store on Whiskey Road without paying.


A 17-year-old Warrenville woman was detained for shoplifting Thursday after she tried to take $62 in merchandise from a store on Whiskey Road without paying.


A 42-year-old Augusta woman was detained for shoplifting Thursday after she stole an item from a store and tried to return it to receive a refund. The woman also had an outstanding warrant for shoplifting.


An Aiken woman reported her prescription medication stolen Wednesday after it had been delivered to the front porch of her Newberry Street home.


A Columbia man reported fraud Thursday after learning that someone made multiple unauthorized transactions on his bank card, including at an Aiken business.


A Columbia man reported Wednesday that he was given a counterfeit $10 bill as change when he ate at an Aiken restaurant.


A 17-year-old Aiken man reported Thursday that several juveniles vandalized his vehicle while it was parked in a parking lot on York Street.


A burglary was reported on Chesterfield Street on Thursday. The owner reported tools and electronics missing.


A vehicle break-in was reported on Whiskey Road on Wednesday. The owner reported a wallet missing.


A vehicle was reported stolen from Marlboro Street on Friday.


According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriffís Office:


A North Augusta man was detained for disorderly conduct Friday after he was found sitting in a vehicle with the engine running on the side of Atomic Road in North Augusta. The man smelled of alcohol and exhibited signs of intoxication.


More than 100 packages of shingles were reported stolen from a construction site on Bubbling Springs Road in Graniteville on Wednesday.


A Warrenville woman reported identity theft on Wednesday after learning an unknown person used her Social Security number to obtain employment.


A North Augusta woman reported on Thursday that an unknown person took her dog from a gas station on Jefferson Davis Highway after it escaped from her home on Crestview Drive.


Burglaries were reported on Apache Drive in North Augusta, Foreman Road in Jackson and White Pond Road in Williston.


A vehicle break-in was reported on Belair Road in North Augusta on Thursday. The owner reported a firearm missing.


A vehicle was reported stolen from Vaucluse Road in Aiken on Wednesday.
