According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
A 14-year-old Aiken boy was detained for second-degree burglary on Wednesday after he allegedly tried to take a lawn mower from the front porch of a home on Schroder Avenue.
A 42-year-old Aiken man was detained for DUI on Thursday after he was pulled over on Grace Avenue for speeding. The man had vomit on his shirt and lap and exhibited signs of intoxication. He was arrested after failing multiple field sobriety tests and provided a breath sample that yielded a .11 percent blood-alcohol content.
A 31-year-old man was detained on Wednesday after officers responded to a call about a suspicious person on Richland Avenue. The man had drug paraphernalia, pills and a substance believed to be methamphetamine in a bag.
An unknown woman tried to use a counterfeit $20 bill to purchase items at a store on Whiskey Road on Wednesday.
A burglary was reported at a home on Wyman Street on Wednesday. The owner reported a firearm, a television and a video game console missing.
Copper piping was reported stolen on Wednesday from three homes under construction on Kirkwood Drive and one home on Sierra Drive.

An Aiken woman reported a handgun stolen from her home on Henry Street on Wednesday.
A Salley man reported a handgun stolen from his home on James Shull Road on Wednesday.
A burglary was reported at a home on Shadowrock Lane in North Augusta on Wednesday. The owner reported a television missing.
A vehicle break-in was reported on Columbia Highway in Aiken on Wednesday.
A motorcycle was reported stolen from Jackson Circle in Wagener on Wednesday.
