According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
A 63-year-old Aiken man was detained for disorderly conduct on Monday after he was seen by officers pulling up his shorts and zipping them in front of a bar on Whiskey Road. The man exhibited signs of intoxication, smelled strongly of alcohol, and could not provide a reason for why he was pulling up his shorts.
An Aiken woman reported finding a machete wrapped in a bandana and a sweatshirt in a Dumpster behind a business on Pine Log Road on Monday.
An Aiken woman reported vandalism on Monday after someone egged her home on Abbeville Avenue.
An Aiken woman reported on Monday that her windshield was shattered by a large rock while she was driving on York Street near Crosland Park.
An unknown woman shoplifted several items from a store on Whiskey Road on Tuesday.
Gunshots were reported on Abbeville Avenue at about 10:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Police investigated but were unable to find evidence of shots fired.
A burglary was reported on Cornish Street on Tuesday. The owner reported a television and a bicycle missing.
A vehicle break-in was reported on Fabian Drive on Tuesday. The owner reported a wallet missing.

A Clearwater man reported on Tuesday that someone took his bank card and made multiple unauthorized transactions with it.
A 53-year-old Warrenville woman was charged with shoplifting on Tuesday after she tried to take merchandise without paying from a store on Jefferson Davis Highway in Langley.
Two air conditioner units were reported missing from a home on Bleachery Street in Clearwater on Tuesday.
Scrap metal was reported missing from a home on Beech Island Avenue in Beech Island on Tuesday.
A vehicle was reported stolen from Old 96 Indian Trail in Batesburg on Wednesday.
