According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:


A 53-year-old woman who lives on Sudlow Ridge Road in North Augusta reported on Friday that her 17-year-old daughter hit her several times on the right shoulder and pulled her hair during an argument in the woman’s car while it was traveling on Interstate 20.


An item was reported missing on Saturday following an inventory of heavy machinery and equipment at Company Wrench on Old Kimbill Trail in Aiken.


An 81-year-old woman accused a 46-year-old woman of pulling her walking cane out from underneath her and twisting it out of her hands during an argument on Friday at a home on Laverne Avenue in Belvedere. The older woman said she suffered a cut on her right hand and injured her arm when she fell. She was transported to Trinity Hospital of Augusta. The younger woman said the older woman stood up and tried to hit her with the cane, and she then twisted the cane out of the older woman’s hands.


A Warrenville man reported on Friday that someone tried to remove copper wiring from the walls of an abandoned mobile home on his property on Pinecrest Drive.


A Williston man reported on Saturday that someone broke a window on the side bay garage door at the Windsor Volunteer Fire Department on Middleton Drive in Windsor. The responding officer found pry marks on the door.


A 52-year-old Warrenville woman was arrested for being “grossly” intoxicated in public and was issued a citation for disorderly conduct after being transported to the Aiken County detention center on Saturday following an incident in Warrenville. The arrest followed the report of a disturbance at a home on Barrett Street. The woman was arrested after leaving the scene on foot with another woman.


A Warrenville woman reported on Saturday that someone broke into her vehicle and took items out of it while it was parked at her home on Southern Avenue. The passenger side rear window of the car was broken. In addition, the responding officer observed damage to the tonneau cover on the bed of the vehicle, ignition switch and center console.


A Warrenville woman reported on Saturday that someone took a DirecTV satellite dish off a home where her former tenant lived on Saddle Horse Road and damaged the front door.


An abandoned vehicle that belongs to an Augusta woman was found in the parking lot of a Texaco gas station on Sand Bar Ferry Road in Beech Island on Saturday. According to the responding officer, all of the vehicle’s windows had been broken out, and the body of the vehicle was severely dented and scratched. Broken glass and plastic parts were scattered around the vehicle, and both of the vehicle’s side mirrors were broken. The lower portion of the vehicle’s driver’s side dash had been removed, and the ignition and radio were missing. Amplifier wiring going into the vehicle’s trunk wasn’t connected to anything.


An Aiken man reported on Saturday that items were stolen from his property on Storm Branch Road.


A 34-year-old homeless woman reported on Saturday that a 35-year-old Warrenville man confronted her while she was sleeping on a bench in a park on Augusta Road in Warrenville, choked her and hit her on the left side of her face. The woman said the man, before attacking her, asked her if she had called the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office about him on June 23 and she told him, “Yes, I did.” She and the man previously had lived together.


A woman who owns the Royal Inn on Jefferson Davis Highway in North Augusta reported on Saturday that a North Augusta man had broken a window in a room that he was staying in.


A Langley woman reported that someone removed an item from an unsecured vehicle that was parked at a home on Barrett Street.


An Aiken woman reported on Saturday that someone damaged her 2008 Chevrolet Malibu while it was parked at her home on Reynolds Pond Road in Aiken.


A 37-year-old Aiken man was arrested after he was accused of throwing a bottle at another man and a woman during a series of incidents that began at the subject’s home on Broadwater Loop. The responding officer reported that the subject was “heavily intoxicated.” The subject said the victims had jumped on him.


A 49-year-old Beech Island man who lives on Dixie Clay Road reported on Saturday that his 21-year-old son took his vehicle without his permission.


A Beech Island man reported on Saturday that someone broke out the rear electronic sliding glass window of his 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 truck, causing an estimated $500 in damage. The vehicle was parked at the victim’s home on Herndon Dairy Road when it was damaged.


A North Augusta man reported on Saturday that someone broke into his home on Melody Lane and took $50 in change. The responding officer observed damage to the back door of the house.


A North Augusta woman, who lives on Fairview Avenue, reported on Saturday that someone broke the front driver’s side window of her vehicle.


An Aiken man reported on Saturday that someone stole copper parts from four air conditioning units and caused other damage at East Side Baptist Church on Wagener Road in Aiken.
