According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

A 68-year-old Aiken woman reported identity theft on Monday after learning that someone tried to use her credit card at a store in Maryland. The suspect also reportedly opened credit card accounts with two stores.

An Aiken woman reported on Monday that an unknown person tried to pry open the garage door of her Holley Lake Road home.

An unknown man reportedly cut the phone line of a business on Richland Avenue on Monday.

A burglary was reported at a store on Whiskey Road on Monday. Nothing was reported missing.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

A Warrenville man was detained for disorderly conduct on Monday after he was found sleeping on the side of Filyaw Acres Lane.

A Bath woman reported on Monday that her grandson burned his initials into her kitchen table.

An Aiken woman reported fraud Monday after learning that someone obtained and cashed four of her mother’s Social Security checks.

Burglaries were reported on Hancock Road in Aiken, West Railroad Avenue in Perry and Wheat Road in Aiken.

A vehicle was reported stolen from Jefferson Davis Highway in North Augusta on Monday.
