The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert H. Rhoden of Aiken, SC. She is a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James E. (Idella) Bodie of Aiken, SC and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert B. (Helen) Rhoden of Aiken, SC. The bride is a graduate of Aiken High School. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina-Honors College with a degree in Chemical Engineering and a graduate of the University of South Carolinaís Darla Moore School of Business with a Masters in Business Administration. She is employed by SRNS at the Savannah River Site in Aiken, SC.
The bridegroom is the son of Ms. Dianne Kearns of Augusta, GA and the late Mr. John Michael Whitehead, Sr. of Fredericksburg, MD. He is a grandson of Mrs. Betty W. Karvois of Augusta, GA and the late Mr. Warren L. Hamilton, Sr. of Augusta, GA and Mr. D.B. Whitehead of Keystone Heights, FL and the late Mrs. Katherine Whitehead of Jacksonville, FL. The bridegroom is a graduate of Westside High School. He is a graduate of the University of Georgia at Athens with a degree in Business. He is employed by AT&T in Aiken, SC.
Mrs. Christi Friar Williams, friend of the bride, of Aiken, SC, was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Amy Cronican McClary of Tega Cay, SC, friend of the bride, and Mrs. Morrisa Whitehead Kimbrell of Martinez, GA, sister of the groom.
Mr. Christopher P. Ryan, friend of the groom, of Augusta, GA, was the best man. Groomsmen were Mr. James Taylor Anderson, III of Charleston, SC, cousin of the groom, and Mr. Robert James Rhoden of Columbia, SC, brother of the bride.
Ushers were Mr. Wesley Thomas Kimbrell of Martinez, GA, brother-in-law of the groom, and Mr. C. Scott Williams of Aiken, SC, friend of the bride.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Woodside Plantation Country Club. After a wedding trip to Costa Rica, the couple will make their home in Aiken, SC.
