According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

A 23-year-old Aiken man allegedly shoplifted $280 in merchandise from a store on Richland Avenue on Tuesday.

Two Aiken women were detained for shoplifting on Tuesday after they tried to take items from a store on Richland Avenue without paying.

A 33-year-old Aiken man allegedly shoplifted two air conditioner units and a fan from a store on Richland Avenue on Tuesday.

A 46-year-old Aiken woman was detained for disorderly conduct on Tuesday after she was found stumbling in Fairfield Street by an officer. The woman smelled of alcohol and appeared to have urinated on herself.

Lawn mowers were reported stolen from Peach Orchard Place and Pendleton Street.

A vehicle break-in was reported on Laurens Street on Monday. The owner reported a firearm and money missing.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

An Aiken man reported on Tuesday that an unknown person took a $900 check from his mailbox on Lindsey Drive.

An Aiken woman reported on Tuesday that an unknown person took her bank card and withdrew money with it at an ATM in Aiken.

An unknown woman shoplifted several packs of meat from a store on Jefferson Davis Highway in Warrenville on Tuesday.

A Monetta woman reported on Tuesday that an unknown person pried the gas cap off her vehicle on Harris Street.

A bicycle was reported stolen from Furman Drive in Aiken on Tuesday.

Burglaries were reported on Ranchero Street in Aiken and Beresford Loop in Aiken.
