North Augusta police arrested two men who were allegedly involved in a residential burglary thanks to the victimís tips.

Domonique Tyrone Clark, 22, of Augusta, and Milton Edmond Taylor IV, 22, of Augusta, were each arrested and charged in connection to a burglary at a Mckenzie Street home.

According to a report, the victim noticed a black Ford Explorer speeding away from her yard when she arrived home on June 5. She attempted to block the vehicle in, and was able to memorize the license plate number.

She contacted the North Augusta Department of Public Safety, gave officers the information, and they were able to locate the vehicle, officials said. A traffic stop was conducted, and the two subjects were arrested.

Officers found a 32-inch television that belonged to the victimís child in the subjectsí vehicle. Officers also observed the side door of the victimís home forced open, according to the report.

They also found another television, laptop and tablet in the vehicle. All of those items matched the description of items taken from the victimís home, according to the report.
