Blotter for June 10
According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
A 43-year-old Aiken man was detained for criminal domestic violence on Sunday after he allegedly jumped on his ex-girlfriend and choked her. He told police it was because she attacked him after approaching him about a bicycle.
A 32-year-old Aiken woman was detained for criminal domestic violence on Sunday after allegedly striking her husband with her fists and biting his arm. The woman told officers it was because she found out her husband had been cheating on her.
A spool of copper wiring was reported stolen from a fenced in area on Marlboro Street on Friday.
An unknown man shoplifted meat from a store on Whiskey Road on Friday.
A burglary was reported at a business on Park Avenue on Wednesday. The owner reported a window broken and locked cabinets forced open, but nothing was reported missing.
A vehicle break-in was reported on Thursday on Meadow Drive. The owner reported a laptop, a camera, a radar detector, sunglasses and an iPod missing from the vehicle, which was unlocked.
Additional vehicle break-ins were reported on Trailwood Avenue, Pin Oak Drive, Roses Run, Robinwood Drive and Banks Terrace.
A gunshot was reported on Wildhaven Drive at about 11:20 p.m. on Saturday. Police investigated but were unable to find evidence of shots fired.

Three Windsor residents reported vandalism to their mailboxes on North Windsor Road on Sunday.
A burglary was reported on Harrison Road in Warrenville on Friday.
A vehicle was reported stolen from Shaws Fork Road in Aiken on Sunday.
