Jaclyn Marie Deason and Andrew Sullivan Wright were married June 7, 2014, at six o’clock in the evening at Duke University Chapel in Durham, NC. The Rev. Dennis Marion Campbell officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Paul Thomas Deason Jr. of Aiken, SC. Her grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. George Oravec and the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul Thomas Deason. The bride is a graduate of South Aiken High School and received her business administration and master of business administration degrees from Winthrop University. She is a tax consultant in the Global Mobility group at Bank of America.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Richard Harvey Wright III of Durham, NC and the late Mr. Richard Harvey Wright III. His maternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Hubbard Lowry Sullivan. His paternal grandparents are the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Davenport Wright. The groom is a graduate of Woodberry Forest School and received his bachelor’s degree from Davidson College and his master of business administration degree from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina. He is an associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Wells Fargo Securities.
The bride was escorted by her father.
The matrons of honor were the bride’s sisters, Kimberly Deason Riley of Daniel Island, SC; Melissa Deason Rhea of Pawleys Island, SC; and Katie Deason Nelson of Charlotte, NC. The bridesmaids were the groom’s sister-in-law, Caroline Cobb Wright of Richmond, VA, and friends of the bride: Ellen Cary Gallman of Charleston, SC; Emily Anne Kota of Charlotte, NC; Lindsay Tuckfield Lawhead of Greenville, SC; Sarah Bradford Skaff of Charlotte, NC; Erin McNamara Wells of Asheville, NC; and Laura Pokojni Young of Charlotte, NC.
The best man was the groom’s brother, Richard Harvey Wright IV. Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Hope Valley Country Club.
A rehearsal dinner, hosted by the groom’s mother, was held at The Carolina Inn.
After a honeymoon trip to Antigua, the couple will live in Charlotte, NC.
