According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
A Windsor couple reported identity theft on Friday after learning that someone filed tax returns in their names.
An Aiken woman reported her two cellphones stolen on Friday after she left them in a shopping cart at a store on Jefferson Davis Highway. The woman said she went back to get the phones but they had already been taken.
A North Augusta man reported on Friday that an unknown person entered his home and took several guns from his closet.
A Clearwater man was detained for disorderly conduct on Saturday after officers saw him “staggering” down the side of Jefferson Davis Highway in Clearwater. The man smelled of alcohol and had slurred speech.
A Graniteville man was detained for disorderly conduct on Saturday after he was found passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle parked on Pearlship Street in Aiken. The man exhibited signs of intoxication.
Burglaries were reported on Rebel Road in Aiken and Eutaw Street in Aiken.
Vehicle break-ins were reported on Edgefield Road in North Augusta and Adams Drive in North Augusta.
Vehicles were reported stolen from St. John’s Church Road in Aiken and U.S. Highway 1 in Clearwater.
