According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

The manager of an apartment complex on Aldrich Street reported on Wednesday that someone took several parts from a swing set on a playground at the complex.

A 16-year-old girl reported on Wednesday that she was assaulted while at a party on Washington Circle. The victim had cuts to her cheek and thigh, and a puncture wound on the other thigh. She was resistant to give officers information about the assault.

A 42-year-old Aiken man was detained for shoplifting on Tuesday after he tried to take $117 in merchandise from a store on Richland Avenue without paying.

A 22-year-old Aiken man reported vandalism on Wednesday after someone keyed his car on Hampton Avenue.

A burglary was reported on Wise Creek Lane on Wednesday. The owner reported electronics and pictures missing.

A vehicle break-in was reported on York Street on Wednesday. The owner reported prescription medication missing.

Additional vehicle break-ins were reported on Richland Avenue and Homestead Lane.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

A burglary was reported at a home on Woodland Drive in North Augusta on Wednesday. The owner reported money, clothing and a firearm missing.

Additional burglaries were reported on Edgefield Highway in Aiken, Woodvalley Drive in Aiken, Kalmia Circle in Aiken and Coker Drive in Aiken.
