According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
A 35-year-old Warrenville man was arrested for disorderly conduct on Monday on Columbia Highway North in Aiken. The responding officers reported that the subject was crying and extremely intoxicated. In a search incident to arrest, a small amount of marijuana was found in two Marlboro Black cigarette packs that the subject had in one of his pockets.
A Graniteville man, who lives on Pride Avenue, reported on Sunday that someone had taken his Xanax and Percocet pills.
An Aiken woman reported on Sunday that a piece of farm equipment had been stolen from outside her home on Wisteria Drive.
A Graniteville woman, who lives on Kalmia Lane, reported on Sunday that someone took her permission.
A 67-year-old Aiken man reported on Friday that a 20-year-old woman threw a hammer at him and it struck one of his elbows. He also said that the woman punched him in the chest with her closed fist during an argument that took place at a home on Village Drive. The woman denied assaulting the man, but said that he had assaulted her. The responding officer observed “redness” on both sides of the woman’s face. A witness said the man didn’t assault the woman and that the woman had asked a friend to slap her in the face so that it would be red.
