Letter: Thanks to support during event

The Kiwanis Club of Aiken wishes to thank all of our wonderful sponsors for their support both monetarily and in spirit for 42nd Annual Tricycle Race.

We also wish to thank each participant and their parents in the Tricycle Race, which I believe was huge success. Our success was attributable to the good weather and the volunteers from our Kiwanis Club Members, the USCA Circle K and the High School Key Clubs. As most of you know, 100 percent of the money raised by this event goes to local charities involving the children in the CSRA. Our commitment is ongoing throughout the year to these children of this community area.

Below are this year’s sponsors, which we so much depend upon for their support:

Gold sponsor: State Farm Insurance – Denny Micaelis

Bronze sponsors: First Citizens Bank, Security Federal Bank and USC Aiken

Annual sponsors: Bob Barnett, Dunkin’ Donuts, Innovative Solutions, McKinney Realty, Pizza Joint and Federal Credit Union

Business and individual sponsors: Aiken Electric Cooperative, Aiken Pest Control, Allstate Insurance – Tom Young, Arthur Rich – Attorney-at-Law, Mental Health America of Aiken, Michael Anaclerio, Stephen Anaclerio, Kathryn Fowler, Hite’s Florist, Lionel Smith Ltd., Osbon Cleaners, Polk Tire, Kami Rice, South Aiken Physical Therapy, Jarod Rusch, Smith, Massey, Brodie, Guynn & Mayes: Attorneys-at-Law, TD Bank, True Value Hardware, Vista Bank, Webster Photography and WHAV, INC.

Thanks again for all of your help and support, and we look forward to seeing you at next year’s Tricycle Race.

John Palmer

President, Kiwanis Club of Aiken
