Letter: Bright best choice for U.S. Senate

In a recent Winthrop University poll, U.S. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., received a 40 percent approval rating. He needs to achieve a 50 plus-percent vote on June 10 to avoid a runoff.

He seems confident that South Carlina voters will not educate themselves on his voting record, but will buy into his attempt to just use his name recognition and slick TV ads to continue his left-leaning voter record.

POPVOX – a nonpartisan advocacy platform – reports that Graham votes most often with U.S. Sens. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Joe Manchin, D-WV, and least often with U.S. Sens. Mike Lee, R-Utah, and Bernie Sanders. I-Vt. He has also voted to support a majority with Obama’s policies. South Carolina deserves a senator that is a true conservative. While every one of Graham’s challengers would be a better choice than Graham, one has a proven conservative record. He is S.C. Sen. Lee Bright, R-Spartanburg. Vote for Bright on June 10th for a real conservative.
