Two men were sent to the hospital after they were injured in an apparent drive-by shooting on Sunday in Graniteville.
According to a sheriff’s report, someone shot at a residence on Cherry Avenue from a silver or gray SUV passing by at about 9:10 p.m. on Sunday. The two victims were taken to Aiken Regional Medical Centers, and their conditions are unknown.
The report states that the resident was holding a Mother’s Day party outside her home when the incident occurred.
The suspect vehicle traveled down Laurel Avenue toward Pine Street, made a u-turn and drove toward Mack Lane when shots were fired, according to witnesses.
Investigators found a line of bullet casings leading from the Cherry Avenue residence toward Mack Lane, the report reads.
Another residence and a truck were also struck during the incident.
