According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
A 42-year-old Aiken man was detained for DUI on Tuesday after he was pulled over on Silver Bluff Road for driving recklessly. The man exhibited signs of intoxication and was taken into custody after failing multiple field sobriety tests.
A 40-year-old Aiken woman was detained for gross intoxication on Tuesday after she was found sitting on the side of the roadway on Lakeside Drive. The woman smelled strongly of alcohol and exhibited signs of intoxication.
A vehicle break-in was reported on Spring Stone Court on Monday. The owner reported change and a pendant missing from the unlocked vehicle.
An additional vehicle break-in was reported on Steeple Ridge Road on Monday. The owner reported change missing from the unlocked vehicle.
According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
A burglary was reported on Brayboy Drive in Aiken on Tuesday. The owner reported jewelry, change and a handgun missing.
A vehicle break-in was reported on Ivan Street in Warrenville on Tuesday. The owner reported a bracelet missing from the unlocked vehicle.
An additional vehicle break-in was reported on Tess Street in Graniteville on Tuesday. The owner reported a wallet missing.
