According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

A 19-year-old Aiken man was detained for shoplifting on Wednesday after he tried to take about $43 in trading cards from a store on Richland Avenue.

An unknown woman shoplifted several items from a store on York Street on Wednesday by concealing the items in her purse.

A vehicle break-in was reported on Aldrich Street on Wednesday. The owner reported a laptop, a cellphone and an earpiece missing.

Additional vehicle break-ins were reported on Aldrich Street and Parsons Circle.

An Aiken man reported two bicycles stolen from his home on Hamilton Drive on Wednesday.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff's Office:

An Harriett Street resident reported guns stolen from his home on Wednesday.

Burglaries were also reported on Dorsett-Kenzie Road in Beech Island, Summer Lakes Road in Aiken, Willow Woods Drive in Aiken and Storm Branch Road in Beech Island.
