The Augusta GreenJackets Wednesday game at Charleston against the RiverDogs was suspended by rain. It will be made up as part of a doubleheader today at Charleston’s Riley Park.

The game was a matinee, and was suspended in the bottom of a scoreless first inning. The RiverDogs were batting with one out and a runner at first base when the game was called at 11:15 a.m.

The remainder of Wednesday’s game will start at 5:05 p.m., with a seven-inning game scheduled to follow 30 minutes after its completion.

The GreenJackets have lost four consecutive games and six of their past seven. Their record is 12-13 on the season and they’re currently in fifth place in the South Atlantic League’s Southern Division, 4½ games behind first-place Savannah.
