The Mount Vintage Golf Club in North Augusta is scheduled to reopen today, according to multiple sources.
A message left with a golf club official was not returned by press time on Monday; however, an answering machine at the club had the following recording on it: “Thank you for calling the Mount Vintage Golf Club. The golf club will be opening Tuesday, April 22.” It then left a number for patrons to set up a tee time.
Additionally, homeowners at the club reportedly received a memo from the Homeowners Association about the club's reopening.
The club and its community fitness center closed in February, according to previous reports.
Tennessee-based Bank of Camden is reportedly the holder of the club's bank note. A message left with the bank was not returned by press time on Monday.
The original 18-hole course opened in 2000. A third nine opened for play in 2008.
