Justice named Regent of the Year

Daughters of the American Revolution – Henry Middleton Chapter Regent Judy Justice was named Regent of the Year. In order to receive this award, Carolyn Miller submitted an application For Outstanding Chapter Regent which included a one page composition. Miller also submitted forms for chapter involvement and achievement in various endeavors directed at education, activities, community events and percentages of chapter revitalizations over a two-year period. This packet of information was submitted anonymously to Chairman Marilyn Altman who reviewed the information and then presented this to two other Honorary State Regents and the State Vice Regent for judging.

Once the judging was done, the sealed envelope was opened with the name of the winning regent at the March State Conference in Columbia. A pin and certificate were created by Hamilton Jewelers for this prestigious award received by Justice. She is one of 73 Regents in South Carolina.
