According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

A 30-year-old Aiken woman was detained for shoplifting on Monday after she tried to take about $200 in jewelry from a store on Whiskey Road.

A burglary was reported at a home on Abbeville Avenue on Monday. The victim reported the suspect kicked in a door and took two video game consoles and some games.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

A 43-year-old Wagener woman reported jewelry, a firearm and prescription drugs missing from her home on Old 96 Indian Trail Road on Monday.

A 71-year-old Aiken woman reported identity theft on Monday after learning that someone filed an income tax return in her name.

Burglaries were reported Monday on Hamelin Road in Aiken and Iroquois Street in Aiken.

Vehicles were reported stolen from I-20 west in North Augusta and Barrett Street in Langley on Monday.
