According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Department:

An Aiken woman reported on Thursday that money was missing from her purse after an unknown man came to her Pipeline Road home and said he would help her in the yard for free but left before doing any work.

A suspicious fire was reported at a mobile home on Buckboard Road in Wagener on Thursday. Fire officials said accelerant appeared to have been used to start the blaze. No injuries were reported.

A vehicle was stolen from the front yard of a Mississippi Avenue home on Thursday.

A safe was stolen from a Baker Street home in Gloverville on Thursday.

Firearms and other items were reported missing from a Daley Street home in Warrenville on Thursday.

Dogs were reported missing from the fenced yard of a Deans Drive home in Beech Island on Thursday.

A windshield of a vehicle that was parked on Richardson Lane in Gloverville was broken with an axe during a verbal altercation on Thursday.

According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

An Aiken woman said that neighbors saw a man enter and exit her vehicle on Thursday while parked at her Sunridge Street home, though nothing appeared missing.

The front door of a Carriage Drive home was smashed in and the home was ransacked on Thursday.
