The Aiken Department Public Safety, along with the help of several other agencies, executed a narcotics search warrant this week that resulted in six arrests.

Six Aiken residents were apprehended and charged with several drug-related offenses, according to a press release. The drug raid occurred at 549 Chesterfield St. N.E. in Aiken on Wednesday evening.

Kenneth Islar, 27, and Mary Salley, 50, have each been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of crack cocaine.

Linda Faye Thornton, 57; Bobby Issac, 48; and David Williams, 49, have each been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dushawn Merritt, 33, is charged with possession of crack cocaine.

ADPS narcotics investigators received assistance from Aiken County Sheriff’s Office and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms Regional Anti-Gang Enforcement Unit.
