According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

A 55-year-old Aiken woman was detained for driving under the influence on Saturday after she was pulled over on Banks Mill Road for weaving in her lane of travel. The woman smelled strongly of alcohol and exhibited signs of intoxication, police said. She was taken into custody after failing multiple field sobriety tests.

A 27-year-old man was jailed for driving under the influence on Saturday after he was pulled over on Whiskey Road for speeding and weaving in his lane of travel. The man smelled strongly of alcohol and was detained after failing multiple field sobriety tests.

A 47-year-old Wagener woman was detained for shoplifting on Friday after she tried to take peanuts and vitamins from a store on Whiskey Road without paying.

A 16-year-old Aiken girl was detained for shoplifting on Saturday after she tried to take a denim jacket from a store in Aiken Mall without paying.

A 36-year-old Aiken man was detained for shoplifting on Sunday after he tried to take several items from a store on York Street without paying.

A 16-year-old student reported his cellphone stolen from a locker room during physical education class at Aiken High School on Wednesday.

A vehicle was reported stolen from South Boundary Avenue on Sunday.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff's Office:

A 39-year-old Gloverville man was detained for driving under the influence on Sunday after he was pulled over on Williston Road in Beech Island for driving erratically. The man smelled strongly of alcohol and exhibited signs of intoxication. He was taken into custody after failing multiple field sobriety tests.

A burglary was reported at a home on Hillvale Street in Gloverville on Sunday. The owner reported jewelry missing.

An additional burglary was reported on Rosemary Street in North Augusta on Saturday.

A vehicle break-in was reported on Glensdale Lane in Aiken on Saturday. The owner reported a GPS unit missing.

Additional vehicle break-ins were reported on Creekridge Road in Aiken and I-20 East in Graniteville.

A vehicle was reported stolen from Fox Pond Road in Aiken on Saturday.
