Miles of Aiken, SC and the late Ernest Clarence Heath announce the engagement of their daughter, Tosha Lachal Roberson of Charlotte, NC, to Douglas Alexander Wilson of Charlotte, NC, a son of Fitz Albert and Aloha Wilson of Camden, S.C. The wedding is planned for September 27, 2014 at St. Peterís Catholic Church in Charlotte, N.C.
The bride-elect is a maternal granddaughter of the late Syrus and Eunice Roberson of Aiken, SC, and a paternal granddaughter of Ms. Ernestine Jones of Aiken, SC and the late John Heath.
She is a 1993 graduate of South Aiken High School. She is a graduate of Winthrop University with a degree in social work. She is employed by the State Government of South Carolina with Intensive Supervision Services.
The bridegroom-elect is a maternal grandson of the late Reginald and Gladys Jones of Flushing, NY, and a paternal grandson of the late Hugh Wilson and Jane Alvaranga of Jamaica, West Indies.
He is a 1997 graduate of Camden High School. He is a graduate of the University of South Carolina in Columbia with a degree in physiology. He is employed by the U.S. Sen. Kay Hagan of North Carolina as a political director.
