According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

A 53-year-old Jackson man reported to officers that he believed his 36-year-old stepson may have taken his horsepower well-pump from his Old Double Springs residence.

A hit-and-run was reported on Jefferson Davis Highway in Beech Island. The owner reported an unknown car hit her parked car in the parking lot.

A 31-year-old Aiken man reported an unknown subject broke into his Irving Drive home on Thursday.

A 63-year-old Graniteville woman reported an unknown subject scratched the top of her vehicle, the doors and trunk on Thursday.

After two men left the Waffle House on Frontage Road in Aiken without paying for their $13 meal on Friday, officers were able to locate the men who then paid for the food.

A 52-year-old Aiken woman reported an unknown subject took her $673 social security check out of her mailbox on Maywell Road on Friday

A 44-year-old Warrenville man reported to officers that an unknown subject went through his car and stole his wallet on Traisco Court on Friday.

A 44-year-old Clearwater man reported to officers that an unknown subject attempted to steal his vehicle on Augusta Road and broke part of the steering column on Friday

A 57-year-old Clearwater woman reported an unknown subject took her white bicycle on South Street on Friday

The Carwash on Jefferson Davis Highway reported to officers that a male wearing a dark hoodie cut the locks off of a vacuum machine and bent some metal rods on Friday.
