According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

A 25-year-old Aiken woman was detained for shoplifting on Thursday after she tried to take clothing items from a store on Whiskey Road without paying.

An unknown man shoplifted several items from a store in Aiken Mall on Thursday.

An 18-year-old North Augusta man was jailed for shoplifting on Thursday after he tried to take a tool set from a store on Richland Avenue without paying. The man also faces drug charges after officers found several different pills in a bottle in his possession.

A 52-year-old Hephzibah, Ga., woman reported financial transaction card fraud on Thursday after finding out someone used her card at an Aiken restaurant.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

Vehicles were reported stolen from Donald Pearson Drive in Graniteville, Timmerman Street in Warrenville and Tirasco Court in Warrenville.

A burglary was reported at a home on Cottage Street in Graniteville on Thursday.
