Wagener-Salley names pageant winners

The Junior Prom Committee of Wagener-Salley High School sponsored the Mr. and Miss Wagener-Salley High School pageant on Feb. 21. The theme of this year’s pageant was “Singing in the Rain.”

The contestants began the night with a routine dressed in raincoats and boots and using umbrellas. There were a total of 17 contestants ranging from ninth to 12th grade. Guests enjoyed a performance by Riley Nisbet, Martin Pittman and Michelle McKie.

The winners of the night were: Brianna Kirkland, Miss Freshman and Miss Outfit of Choice; Morgan Gunter, first runner up and Miss Photogenic; Breanna Pipes, second runner up; Karlee Scott, third runner up; Anslee Fraser, Miss Congeniality; Precious Conner, Miss Sophomore, Miss Outfit of Choice, Miss Congeniality and Miss Photogenic; Alex Walker, Mr. Junior, Mr. Outfit of Choice, Mr. Congeniality and Mr. Photogenic; Crystal B. Thurmond, Miss Junior and Miss Photogenic; Laura Tindal, first runner up and Miss Congeniality; Jordan Fraser, second runner up; Miss Alyshia Scott, third runner up and Miss Outfit of Choice; Kimberly Mason, Miss Senior, Outfit of Choice and Miss Photogenic; and Carmen Cabezas, Miss Wagener-Salley and Miss Congeniality.
