According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
A 58-year-old Aiken man reported on Friday that he believes his son has been stealing power tools and equipment from his home on Hampton Avenue.
Two Aiken women were detained for shoplifting on Sunday after the tried to take items from a store on Richland Avenue.
A 38-year-old Saluda man was jailed for shoplifting on Sunday after he tried to take meat, socks, a candy bar and a set of headphones from a store on Richland Avenue without paying.
An unknown man took a hooded sweat shirt and headphones from a store on Richland Avenue without paying.
An unknown man took a quantity of meat and beer from a store on York Street without paying on Friday.
Officers working a parade on Hampton Avenue on Saturday investigated what they thought were gunshots on the 500 block of Chesterfield Street. They were unable to find evidence of shots fired.
A vehicle break-in was reported on Richland Avenue on Friday. The owner reported jewelry, a knife, a power inverter and a statue stolen from the vehicle.
Additional vehicle break-ins were reported on Laurens Street and Richland Avenue.
A 40-year-old Aiken man reported his wallet stolen on Friday after leaving it in a store on Whiskey Road.
A man visiting from out of town reported a chain-saw missing from his hotel room on Richland Avenue.

A 29-year-old Aiken man was detained for criminal domestic violence on Sunday after he allegedly slapped his wife on the face following an argument.
An Aiken man reported a push lawn mower stolen from his home on Princess Lane.
An Aiken homeowner reported a window shattered in the front door of their Augusta Road home on Sunday.
A trailer was reported stolen from a home on Ron Road in Beech Island on Sunday.
