According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

A 29-year-old Aiken woman was detained for shoplifting on Wednesday after she tried to take more than $400 in merchandise from a store without paying.

A burglary was reported on Thursday at a home on Hickory Ridge. The homeowner reported a safe containing jewelry, gold bars and cash missing.

An additional burglary was reported on Fox Haven Drive on Wednesday.

A vehicle break-in was reported on Rollingwood Road on Wednesday. The owner reported a laptop and a wallet missing from the unlocked vehicle.

Additional vehicle break-ins were reported on Rollingwood Road, Pineland Terrace, Summit Street, Meadow Drive and Augustus Street.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

An air conditioner unit was reported stolen from a home on Brantley Street in Graniteville on Wednesday.

An Aiken man reported on Wednesday that someone took a satellite dish from in front of his Beatty Lane home.

A burglary was reported on Sunflower Lane in Warrenville on Wednesday.

A vehicle was reported stolen from Saddle Soap Lane in Beech Island on Wednesday.
