According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:
A 17-year-old high school student was detained after a school resource officer found a marijuana blunt and a bottle of beer in the student’s vehicle on campus.
A 17-year-old high school student reported vandalism on Wednesday after finding pink paint splattered on his vehicle in the student parking lot.
An Aiken man reported fraudulent purchases on his checking account that were made between September and February, totaling about $5,570.
A 52-year-old Aiken man was detained for disorderly conduct on Thursday after he was found standing in the middle of Rutland Drive. The man was swaying and having trouble maintaining his balance, appeared to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol. He had recently been released from the hospital but refused to stay at the Salvation Army shelter.
An unknown woman took a pajama set from a store on Fabian Drive on Wednesday without paying.
According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:
A Graniteville man reported fraud on Wednesday after learning that an unknown person opened a cellphone account in his name.
A vehicle break-in was reported on Main Street in Graniteville on Wednesday. The owner reported a gun missing.
Vehicles were reported stolen from Honors Circle in Graniteville and Converse Drive in Aiken.
