The following is a list of closing, cancelations and delays due to inclement weather. Check back often as this story is updated throughout the day with new information.

• Aiken County public schools will be closed Wednesday.

• Edgefield County Schools will be closed on Wednesday.

 • Fox Creek High School will be closed Wednesday.

• All Barnwell County schools are closed Wednesday and Thursday.

• Williston School District 29 is closed Wednesday and Thursday.

• Piedmont Technical College campuses have canceled all classes beginning after 1 p.m. today. Day and evening classes are canceled on Wednesday.

• USC Aiken has canceled all classes and university offices Wednesday.

• Aiken Technical College will be closed on Wednesday.

• Episcopal Day School will be closed Wednesday.

• Westminster Schools of Augusta will be closed on Wednesday.

• Mead Hall Episcopal School will be closed on Wednesday.

• Our Lady of Peace school in North Augusta will be closed Wednesday.

• Victory Christian School in North Augusta will be closed Wednesday.

• All Helms College classes are canceled on Wednesday.


The following high schools games that were to be played tonight have been postponed:

• Aiken at North Augusta

• Airport at Midland Valley

• Strom Thurmond at Gilbert

• Barnwell at Silver Bluff

• Fox Creek at Blackville-Hilda

• Wagener-Salley at Hunter-Kinard-Tyler

• North at Ridge Spring-Monetta

• USC Aiken men's and women's basketball doubleheader, planned for tonight, has been postponed until Thursday at 5:30/7:30 p.m.


• Aiken Regional Medical Centers has closed the following services Wednesday: Women's LifeCare Diagnostic Services, the Cancer Care Institute of Carolina, the Palmetto Pediatrics, the Wound Healing Institute, the Southside Imaging Center, the Diabetes & Nutrition Teaching Center, the Business & Industry Health, the Aurora Pavilion Outpatient Services and the Outpatient Lab Stations – located inside Southside Imaging and the Medical Office Building.All elective procedures planned for Wednesday have been canceled and rescheduled. Patients have being notified by Aiken Regional Medical Centers.The Emergency Department will remain fully staffed and ready to care to patients 24/7. ARMC Childbirth Preparation Class scheduled for tonight has also been canceled.

• All City of Aiken offices will be closed Wednesday.

• All Aiken County government offices will be closed Wednesday.

• The Savannah River Site will be closed Wednesday to non-essential personnel.  At this time, a two-hour reporting delay is anticipated for Thursday.

• Fort Gordon will curtail operations for Wednesday. Only mission essential personnel and those directed by their supervisors should report for work.

• The Aiken County School Board has canceled tonight's meeting.

• The City of Aiken Municipal Court and North Augusta Municipal Court will be closed on Wednesday.

• The Golden Harvest Food Bank will be closed Wednesday.

• The Aiken County Best Friend Express bus service will not operate Wednesday.

• Wednesday's Veterans to Careers initiative Memorandum of Understanding signing luncheon has been postponed.

• The Aiken Area Council on Aging will have no group dining or home delivered meals on Wednesday and Thursday. There will be no transportation on Wednesday. Transportation is expected to resume at 10 a.m. on Thursday if weather permits.

• The Edgefield Camellia Club's annual tea scheduled for Thursday has been canceled.

• The meeting of National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association Chapter 934 scheduled Wednesday has been canceled.

• CSRA Renal Services LLC will be closed on Wednesday.

• The date of the Wagener-Salley High School Black History Month Program featuring James King of Bruno Mars' Band has been moved to Friday, Feb. 21.

• Hammond-Beyer Health Center PA will be closed Wednesday.

• The free informational seminar on VA Aid, attendance and long-term care planning for seniors seminar has been canceled due to weather. For more information, call 706-364-3764 or 803-226-0334.

• Aiken Surgical Associates will be closed Wednesday. Patients are asked to call the office before coming on Thursday.

• The Three Rivers Regional Landfill will closed on Wednesday. Check its website at for more.

• Runs Missionary Baptist Church will be closed on Wednesday.

 • Aiken Counseling Group will be closed Wednesday for patients and group therapy.

• CMI (Carolina Musculoskeletal Institute) will be closed Wednesday.

• The Lower Savannah Council of Governments meeting scheduled for Thursday has been canceled.

• Georgia Bank & Trust and Southern Bank & Trust locations will be closed Wednesday and will be open on Thursdayfrom noon to 4 p.m.

• Shepeard Community Blood Center will be closed Wednesday.

• Employees of all Goodwill locations retail stores, admin offices, Job Connections, donation centers, Helms College faculty and staff and hospitality should plan to report to work at 10 a.m. Wednesday.All truck-based donation locations will be closed on Wednesday.

• All City of North Augusta government business offices will be closed Wednesday.

• The Aiken Center for Active Seniors will be closed on Wednesday.

• Millbrook Baptist Church of Aiken will be closed and all church activities will be canceled Wednesday.

• Auten's restaurant will be closed Wednesday. 

• All Security Federal Bank branches will be closed Wednesday. 

• Village Fitness will be closed Wednesday and will reopen Thursday at noon.
