A North Augusta woman was the victim of a carjacking that happened in Clearwater on Sunday evening but was left uninjured.

The woman was in her vehicle at Clearwater First Baptist Church on Clearwater Road at about 8:30 p.m. when someone walked up, knocked on the window and told her to “get out,” according to a sheriff's report. The woman told deputies that she thought it was a joke at first but he proceeded to threaten to shoot her.

The woman said she was unable to see if he really had a gun, got out of the driver seat and onto the ground, the report read. She then heard the assailant tell a possible second person to shoot her if she moved. The man then got in the vehicle and sped off.

The only thing that the woman could remember about the suspect was that he was wearing a black hoodie.
