A bomb threat was made at the Beech Island McDonald’s on Sunday evening.

Someone called the fast food restaurant stating that there was a bomb in the building, and everyone needed to get out. The reporting deputy had all customers and employees exit the building, which was then secured to avoid anyone else getting onto the premises, according to a sheriff’s report.

The scene was then turned over to the Richmond County explosives K-9 handler, which conducted a protective sweep of the building.

Nothing was reportedly found.
