AIKEN, SC – Mary Ann Parmelee, 70, beloved wife of Thomas W. Parmelee, passed away surrounded by loved ones Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Georgia Regents University Medical Center, Augusta, GA.
A native of Grand Rapids, MI, Mary Ann was a daughter of the late Eiso L. and Pauline Wagner Bruggema. Mary Ann was a renowned instructor, trainer and clinician in the equestrian community. She had made Aiken, SC her home since 1988 where she and her husband owned Chessman Farm.
Survivors, in addition to her husband Tom, include two sons, Rick (Cathy) Cram, Aiken, SC and Brent (Susan) Cowan, Hastings, MI; four grandchildren, Megan and Austin Cowan, Celia and Elizabeth Cram.
A Celebration of Mary Ann’s Life will be held Saturday, March 29th at Highfields Event Center in Aiken South Carolina.
