According to reports provided by the Aiken Department of Public Safety:

A vehicle break-in was reported on King Edward Way on Thursday. The vehicle was unlocked, and the owner reported a shotgun and prescription medication missing.

Additional vehicle break-ins were reported on Portofino Lane, New Haven Lane and Banks Mill Road.

A burglary was reported on Friday on Freiday Lane.

According to reports provided by the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office:

A 52-year-old Columbia man was detained for disorderly conduct on Thursday after he was found stumbling in the roadway at the intersection of Whiskey Road and Old Whiskey Road. The man smelled strongly of alcohol and was acting belligerent.

A burglary was reported at a home on McGee Road in Batesburg on Wednesday. A door had been forced open, and the owner reported firearms, jewelry, electronics, bullets and video games missing.

Additional burglaries were reported on Thursday on Hillview Street in Graniteville and Old Sudlow Lake Road in North Augusta.

A vehicle break-in was reported on Cooper Drive in Aiken on Thursday. The owner reported jewelry missing.

An air conditioner unit was reported stolen from Wheat Road in Aiken on Thursday.
